Interview Question

Does the pressure of receiving a college scholarship for athletes drive them to use performance enhancers like steroids?

 

1)      How do you feel about high school athletes taking steroids?

-          They shouldn’t be taking them because it’s not healthy

-          They shouldn’t take them because it is cheating and it is wrong to better yourself through unconventional ways.

-          If you need them for your health then it is okay, other than that young athletes should stay away from them.

-          It is completely cheating

-          If a player is caught taking them, that athlete should be kicked off the team.

-          Yes

-          No because it’s none of their business

2)      How many students do you feel abuse steroids in each school?

-          One or two students, max three

-          1 or 2

                                   

3)      Do you think athletes should be tested for steroids in school?

-          Yes, they should be tested for all drugs because they are a liability and if they get hurt the school is responsible

-          No because it would be to expensive

-          Yes because it would reduce the amount of kids taking drugs

-          No because the cost of testing all the athletes would be impossible to pay

4)      How much would testing kids for steroids cost per student?

-          $20

-          $38

-          $100

-          $50

 

5)      What do you think is the main cause of student athletes abusing steroids?

-          Scholarship

-          Needing the scholarship just to get into college because otherwise you can’t afford to go.
